Kershaw County Adds E-Check Option for Utility Bill Payments

Kershaw County residents now have a new way to pay utility bills online. County officials say customers can now choose E-check payments using their bank routing and account numbers, offering a lower-cost alternative to debit or credit card transactions. The fee for an E-check payment is one dollar and twenty-five cents per transaction, compared to two dollars and twenty-five cents for debit or credit card payments. Officials say the secure online payment option provides added flexibility while helping customers save on transaction costs.
