The City of Camden officially cut the ribbon on upgraded playground equipment at Boykin Park Monday, marking a major investment in recreation for local families. City leaders say the new playground was funded through the South Carolina Parks and Recreation Development Program with support from the Kershaw County Legislative Delegation. Senator Jeffrey Graham called the project an investment in safe, accessible places for children to play, while Representative Robert Reese said it helps ensure every child in Camden has recreational opportunities. Mayor Vincent Sheheen says the new equipment reflects the city’s continued commitment to improving quality of life and investing in Camden’s future.
