Kershaw County deputies assisted another agency in a developing case out of Georgia last week. Authorities say a vehicle flagged by Flock cameras along Highway 601 in Lugoff was linked to a reported kidnapping. Deputies located the vehicle parked at a Bojangles and made contact with a woman and a three-week-old infant.

The woman told deputies she was unaware of the situation, but after confirmation from Atlanta Police, she was taken into custody. The infant was placed in emergency protective custody and transported to the hospital as a precaution.
