Lugoff-Elgin High School Principal Corey Wright has announced plans to retire at the end of the current school year, wrapping up nearly 33 years in education. Wright has led LEHS for the past six years, guiding major achievements including the launch of the AP Capstone program, national student recognitions, and success across academics, arts, and athletics. Under his leadership, the school also earned honors as a Unified Champion School and saw multiple state-level wins and accolades.
