A Camden man has been sentenced to federal prison for access device fraud involving stolen credit cards. 37 year-old Jamel Christopher Chisolm was sentenced to 27 months behind bars after investigators determined he stole credit cards from the mail and used them to make unauthorized purchases and withdrawals. During a traffic stop, law enforcement found Chisolm in possession of numerous credit cards in other people’s names. Authorities say he and a colleague used the stolen cards — including software known as “Gucci Bot” — causing more than 118-thousand dollars in losses. United States District Judge Mary Geiger Lewis handed down the sentence, which also includes three years of supervised release and nearly $119,000 in restitution. The case involved the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Camden Police, and the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office.
