For the sixth time in seven years, the Lugoff-Elgin High School Kaleidoscope has received the Palmetto Award from the South Carolina Scholastic Press Association. The Kaleidoscope yearbook competes in Class IV with other schools with 1500 to 2000 students enrolled. The Palmetto Award, given to the best yearbook in each class as determined by population, signifies that LE’s yearbook continues to be one of the best among other high schools with a similar population and one of the top in the state. The LEHS yearbook also received this award in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
