According to Camden PD, on Friday morning, October 10, 2025, at approximately 8:15 AM, the Camden Police Department executed a search warrant at 1024 West DeKalb Street (Cheap Way Gas Station) in conjunction with multiple agencies including SLED, Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office, DSS, OIG, USDA, and the South Carolina Lottery Commission. As a result of this operation, three individuals 41 year old Samrity Abbott, 40 year old Vikas Joher, and 28 year old Sukvinder Pal were arrested. All three were charged with Fraudulent Use of Food Stamps and Criminal Conspiracy. Camden PD says this is still an active investigation.
