Friends of the Kershaw County Library are pleased to announce the dates and times for the 2025 book sale. The sale will be held this September at the Old Armory at 1034 W. Dekalb Street in Camden.
The sale will begin on Thursday, September 11, with Friends Night, an exclusive preview event for members of Friends of the Library. Friends Night hours are from 5 PM to 8 PM. The sale opens to the general public on Friday, September 12, from 12 PM to 8 PM. Dates/Times for the sale are as follows:
- Thursday, September 11* (Friends Night), 5 PM – 8 PM
- Friday, September 12*, 12 PM – 8 PM
- Saturday, September 13, 10 AM – 5 PM
- Sunday, September 14, 12 PM – 5 PM
- Friday, September 19, 12 PM – 8 PM
- Saturday, September 20, 10 AM – 5 PM
- Sunday, September 21 (Half-Price Day), 12 PM – 5 PM
*On Thurs. Sept. 11 and Fri. Sept. 12, food trucks will join us at the book sale.
The categories included at the sale are fiction, non-fiction, gardening & cookbooks, kids’ books, audio/visual materials, and more. Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted as payment methods. The proceeds of the book sale help fund library projects such as programming, facility improvements, summer reading, and more.
