Special Called Meeting Set For April 16th

A special called meeting of the Kershaw County Planning Commission will be held in the County Council Meeting Chambers on Tuesday April 16th at 5:30 PM at 515 Walnut Street, Camden, SC 29020 to consider a text amendment request by Kershaw County Government to amend the Kershaw County, South Carolina, Unified Code of Zoning and Land Development Regulations, Section 3:1.3, Table 3-4 to amend and increase the minimum lot size required for all residential housing use types to no less than 21,780 square feet and to amend the method of calculation for minimum lot sizes for single family attached use types and multifamily/apartment use types by requiring a minimum lot size of 21,780 square feet and an additional 7,500 square feet of lot size or each dwelling unit after the first dwelling unit, and to make a recommendation to Kershaw County Council on the proposed Ordinance for a ZLDR text amendment.
